1. You can't just say "socialism". AOC and Bernie advocate for Social Democracy, which is what Europe does. I have never once heard anyone say they want us to look like Venezuela or the USSR.

2. You say "a radical socialist country". Really? We're the only developed country in the world that doesn't guarantee free healthcare, paid leave, and so many other things. AOC and Bernie are fighting for things the rest of the world takes for granted. When the rest of the world looks at us, WE are the radical country. And the other option is "a thriving capitalist country". HAH! The rich are thriving. 6. I'm pretty sure no one is advocating this. Illegal immigrants don't have access to most government programs anyway, even though many pay some or all of their taxes.

7. No one, literally NO ONE in this race has ever advocated for open borders. Link to me to a single instance, please. Further, ICE didn't exist until 2003, and our borders seemed pretty fine before then.

8. Many studies indicate that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than they cost in government services. Illegal immigrants commit less crime than citizens. When Alabama passed HB 56 in 2011 they almost immediately regretted it, and repealed provision after provision.

9. I assume this is using the American Action Forum report. First off, this number includes Medicare For All. Oh no, that costs ~$36 trillion over 10 years. OUR CURRENT SYSTEM COSTS AS MUCH OR MORE. We aren't going to add the cost of Medicare For All on top of our current system, that would be PREPOSTEROUS. Second, you're using the max, even though the report said "$51 - $93 trillion". That's a bit of a wide range. Potentially, if we take $51 - $36, then we're only actually looking at $15 trillion over 10 years, which is literally 1/6 of the number you use in the question. Third, if you don't like the Green New Deal, what's your counter-proposal? Watch the world burn as climate change continues unabated?
